We collect nothing. Here's the whole of it.

Your books stay on your device

The books you add, your place in them, and your settings stay on your iPhone or iPad. They're never uploaded, to us or anyone else. We don't run any servers for the app at all.

The voice that reads your books aloud is made on your device too, by a speech model that comes with the app. So nothing it reads leaves your device, and it works without an internet connection.

The subscription

The app goes online only to reach the App Store, to show the subscription and its price, and to check what you've subscribed to. Apple handles the purchase, under Apple's own privacy policy. The app sees only what you've subscribed to, and until when. It never sees your name, your Apple Account or your payment details.

What the app keeps on your device

• Your library: the books you've added, their covers, and how far you've read in each.
• Your settings: the voice, the speed, and how you like the page set.
• Which of the app's tips you've seen.

These stay in the app's own storage on your device. They go if you delete the app, and they're included in your device's backups, as any app's are, under your control.

This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking scripts. The company that hosts it may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security, as web hosts do; we don't use them to identify anyone.

Children

As the app collects nothing from anyone, it collects nothing from children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new one will be on this page, with the date it took effect.
